EP Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2011 ~ May 7, 2012

Looking around the humidors for my first 'Drew's Review,' I came across the EP Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2011.

The size of the cigar is a larger Toro at 6.5x56, but at $18, it is no ordinary cigar. The oscuro wrapper looks rich and dark with a rough texture, and with a quick sniff, it smells as if it will be a very rich cigar.

Upon initial light, it is very spicy with heavy pepper, and it has a very easy draw. The first half of the cigar is medium-full strength with continuing spice and full body flavor. The draw and the burn remain consistent throughout the entire cigar with no problems.

The second half of the cigar calms down a little to a medium-full flavor with less of the in your face spice and pepper.

Smoking time takes about 75-90 minutes at an average smoking pace.

If you are a fan of cigars such as the Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 and the Liga Privada No. 9 definitely pick one up and give it a smoke.

With the spice and rich flavor, I personally love the kick in the throat this cigar gave me.

Drew approved - 92/100
